The Comfort Foundations™ program is the first stage of the Comfort Doodle Development Pathway and is designed to guide puppies through one of the most influential periods of their early development. Beginning at 10 weeks of age, this six-week immersive program focuses on building confidence, emotional stability, and essential life skills through purposeful experiences, positive reinforcement, and individualized guidance.
At Comfort Doodle, we believe the goal of early development is much greater than teaching a puppy to follow commands. It is about creating a confident, resilient companion who can successfully navigate the world around them while building a trusting relationship with their family.
Throughout Comfort Foundations™, each puppy follows a personalized development plan based on their individual temperament, confidence level, and learning style. Every experience is introduced with patience and encouragement, allowing puppies to grow at a pace that supports long-term success rather than short-term results.
By focusing on emotional development before advanced training, puppies gain the confidence to adapt to new environments, recover from unfamiliar situations, and approach learning with curiosity instead of fear. This strong developmental foundation prepares them not only for life at home but also for continued growth through the next stages of the Comfort Doodle Development Pathway.
Ready for Home
Completing Comfort Foundations™ marks an important milestone in your puppy's development. During these six weeks, your puppy has been introduced to foundational life skills, confidence-building experiences, and positive training that prepare them for a successful transition into family life.
Every puppy develops at their own pace, and we believe lasting success comes from allowing each puppy to learn according to their developmental readiness. By building confidence before advancing skills, puppies leave Comfort Foundations™ with a strong emotional foundation, a love of learning, and the ability to continue growing alongside their new family.
In addition to their developmental progress, puppies completing Comfort Foundations™ will have received their age-appropriate veterinary care, including scheduled vaccinations, routine deworming, and comprehensive health examinations.
